• Channel & content data — information about the YouTube channels you connect, including video metadata, transcripts, analytics, and comments you choose to manage in the studio.
• Usage data — how you interact with features such as the Title Lab, SEO Audit, and forecasts, used to improve the product.
• Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. YouTube channel data & Google API Limited Use

When you connect a channel, you authorise access through Google OAuth and choose which permissions to grant. We use this access only to provide studio features you request — generating titles, auditing SEO, drafting Shorts, forecasting growth, and, with your explicit approval, publishing or scheduling metadata.

We never publish, edit, or delete anything on your channel without your explicit approval. You can disconnect a channel and revoke access at any time from your account settings or your Google security settings.

Google API Services Limited Use compliance. Tube Optimizer's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in Tube Optimizer's user interface.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users.
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including personalised, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless (a) we have obtained your explicit consent to read specific data, (b) it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

• To personalise outputs to your channel and brand voice.

• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your private channel content to train AI models for other customers or for any general-purpose model training. We do not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the product (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, and payment processing), under contracts that require them to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Retention, deletion & security

We retain Google user data and other personal data only while your account is active. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page or by deleting your Tube Optimizer account from your settings. Once you delete your account, we delete associated Google user data and personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records). To request immediate deletion, email [email protected] and we will action it within 7 business days.

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.
